Friends From the Start, We'll Never Part, You'll Always be in my Heart
forever friends <3
dear Tess Rary,
this blog is officially dedicated to you! :) Yes, YOU, YOU, YOU! Sistafren, we have been through some times. Some of the funnest and randomest times of my life. Times of tears and sadness. Times of change and distance. Times of giggles and jokes. Times of dancing and singing. Times that will be with me forever. You have been a blessing. Thanks for being my friend. I am so grateful for making that lug over the states to good 'ol Georgia, where I met my long lost sister. I remember seeing you at Orientation and secretly staring at you. I thought, what. A brown girl with curly hair and muscly legs, she looks like me. Ah, it was a bond at first sight. Haha, and then when we talked at Orientation about how you were dating a guy on the football team, I thought that was cool, and then I later found out who the infamous "Brandon Boykin" was. And then over summer, when I sent my sheets to your house in Georgia before we even knew each other. Ha, I specifically remember telling my mom, wow this girl is really nice.
It's so neat to think that it's only been two years since we met, yet it feels like we have a lifetime of memories under our belt. Some of my favorite times have been the little moments. The moments when I would come into your dorm room after my class with all my energy and wake you up from your daily naps. Or when I would draw you pictures on random days so you could put them up in your room. Or when we coordinated our outfits to wear similar things cuz we didn't want to be the only ones wearing tight leggings with a big sweatshirt so we did it together. Or going downtown to dance, and neither of us danced. Or going out to eat at Cracker Barrel after games. Or listening to Brandon tell you not to eat an entire bag of Dove chocolates before you go to bed. Or driving to get Sonic and listening to Beyonce, Dream, or whatever the latest mix cd I had made in your car. Or how about coming home from the football game to find your car towed. Or how about the times that I tried to tell you a story, but I couldn't because I forgot all the details. Or the times when we would have fig newton, vanilla wafer, or yogurt covered pretzel cravings. Or the times when you were officially adopted into my family, and we all picked you up from the airport, played basketball in Dave and Busters, went biking in the Arizona streets, and broke Jasmin's arm. Or the the times people got us confused. Or the times I came home to the Echols pool house. Or the times we would get splinters in our butts from playing softball. Or the times we debated our future as cheerleaders, tennis players, or _____. Or the times we fought over nothing. Or the times we skyped while we were on the bus to our games. Or the times we had a "have you even" battle on facebook. Or the times, or the times, or the times. Point being, we have a lot of great TIMES together. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm so grateful and happy to have you as my friend. I pray that this list will continue to grow and grow. Because you can't get rid of me that easy. I mean maybe if we were just friends, but since we're officially sisters. You're stuck with me.

You're amazing!

There is no better friend than a sister. And there is no better sister than you."
